Senbonmtasu course and the opening and closing themes
Unlocking the final course is easy, but if you're not paying attention, you can miss it completely. After achieving "Extra Level Max," play another round of Arcade mode, and you'll notice that your meter is rising again, but MUCH more slowly. Filling it up will give you a hidden and final unlock.
The final unlock will give you the Senbonmatsu nonstop course (which includes the V3 Opening theme, Axis, Jake In The Box, and the "Thank You For Playing" theme which cannot be played except within the course), two new titles, and the V3 Opening theme for normal play.
Cheat Mode
The following commands can be entered in the "Music Select" screen:

| Hold Red + Green + Blue and press Select at the "Music Select" menu. | Guitar Freaks: "Best Record" view |
| Press Pick, Green(2), Pick at the "Music Select" menu. Repeat this code to cycle through the guitar modes. | Guitar Freaks: Default, Bass, and Open Pick guitar modes |
| Press Green(3) at the "Music Select" menu. | Guitar Freaks: Faster scroll speed |
| Hold Green and press Pick(2) at the "Music Select" menu. | Guitar Freaks: Increase difficulty from Basic to Extreme |
| Hold Start after selecting a song. | Guitar Freaks: Play Style menu |
| Press Pick(4) at the "Music Select" menu. | Guitar Freaks: Reset all Play Style changes to default |
| Hold Green and press Select at the "Music Select" menu. | Guitar Freaks: Sort music list |
